How to know if your child is ready to play ball!

Updated: Aug 3, 2020

All kids need to be outside enjoying the fresh outdoors. While we certainly know how hard it is to remove kids from being in front of screens we strive to help not only get your kids outside, but increase co-ordination, build self esteem, and strengthen overall body strength.

The youngest kids we recruit to start playing ball is age 8. For 8-year-old children, physical development is more about refinement of skills, coordination, and muscle control rather than larger changes. Children with innate athletic abilities may show their potential at this age, as their physical skills become more refined and accurate. In fact, this is often the age at which children decide whether they are athletic or not and choose to participate in or avoid sports.

This is the perfect age to start them become more co ordinated and enjoy social time playing a game they love to watch.
